Just wondering, what happened to the front (home) page. The formatting is all out of whack.

It looks fine when I go into the "forums" though

We recently facelifted the front page. What version of IE/FF/Safari are you using and what are you seeing? Could you send a screenshot to me? The facelifted version of the site should look like the attachment here.

It's kind of like that, only the picture and post are waaaayyy down at the bottom.

The machine I'm on is on IE 6 and Windows XP with resolution at 1024 x 768. I'll try another machine with IE 8 later.

OK, on IE8 with Win xp resolution at 1680 x 1050 it looks fine (OK, kinda small in the middle of the screen but the layout is ok).

OK. We didn't test the ultra-slick-awesome interface on IE6. Should be fixed this week. Thanks for the heads-up!

Our development department has tested the layout on Chrome and it looks terrific. Could you attach a screen shot?

It looks like your IE6 fix must have fixed the Chrome issue as well. It looks fine in Google Chrome now as compared to earlier today.

Hey just FYI -- IE6 is a liability. Definitely do not enter your credit card info online using ie 6. You should really use a different browser.

"As of January 10, 2009, security advisory site Secunia reports 142 vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 6, 22 of which are unpatched, some of which are rated moderately critical in severity[11].

This version of Internet Explorer is widely derided for its security issues and lack of support for modern web standards, making frequent appearances in "worst tech products of all time" lists, with some publications labelling it as the "least secure software on the planet."[2]"

Thanks for the warning,

IE 6 is actually on my machine at work. They have just about everything firewalled off, so no purchasing stuff there anyway. Don't use IE6 at home.

CedarLake ---
Maybe you should pass some of that info along to the folks who have your computers at worked "locked down" like that... they aren't as secure as they think they are as long as they're on ie6. Might score you some bonus points with the bosses :-)

Word on IE6. When we heard of the CSS problem in IE6 we were like, "WTF? Who the F is on IE6?" Tongue

I know. I can't believe I did it. I'm still not going to create a personal account at this point.

From this article, it sounds like a lot of companies may still be on IE6. At least my company is in good company...

What enterprise still uses IE 6? Try Intel
