I feel like I've cheated winter this year. It has been so mild, next to no snow and very few days under freezing and this in Canada! Plus I've been to Florida twice and now spring is around the corner. This is the kind of winter I can handle.

Weatherwise, ours has been

Weatherwise, ours has been fantastic. The problem has been my drysuit, after 13 years is pretty much done: I was suffering burnout from frustration and to many tournaments: and a bunch of projects around the house wanted some attention. Our water has probably spent less than 20 days below 50 degrees. I'm trying to get out 2 or 3 more times this month and then it be at least 1 maybe 2 a week in March.

The first picture illustrates this condition from the front, and the second from the rear. What's amazing is that at a glance the 2nd picture looks like... Read more

I'd love to tell you all how much progress I've made this week in the course but it's 22 degrees F right now with a high of 38. The boat is still winterized and the course is still put away. In other news, I have added a FORUM to the site which seems to be getting a little traction out there. If you haven't created an account in the Forum section of the site, go ahead and create one and check it... Read more

I love getting tips and pointers from friends on the boat, coaches at ski school, and fellow skiers on the web. I've gotten constructive input all summer from each one of these sources and it's been very helpful. It's interesting to see what each "coach" brings to the table and notices in my skiing- usually it's something in a specific phase of the turn or wake cross- arms down, arms straight,... Read more
